Oh no, Dime ran away!

Sorry, I am currently on hiatus so I will not be roleplaying for a very long time... (But I will drop in from time to time.)

Independent Psycho-Pass RP/ask blog for Ginoza's dog, Dime.

Dime is Ginoza's pet Siberian husky whom he had since he was younger (ironically, Gino's a dog lover!). Dime first appeared in the Psycho-Pass radio drama episode 8: "Dogs of the CID".

"Woof?"

abyssmalhound:

Shadowy brows knot while staring at the husky, morbidly confused as to why and more importantly how it managed to get here. Even without being as mentally compromised as he is right now the enforcer never fails to wonder how in the world the husky magically appears out of nowhere and in the office. Even now he questions Ginoza’s ability to handle canines, especially when he lets them run loose like this. “Hey, Dime; how the fuck did you get here? D’you have teleporting powers or something?

In refusal to give out the pooch’s secrets on the art of escaping, Dime just played dumb. Being an escape artist runs in the Siberian husky bloodline and humans are not to know about their elaborate tricks. So Dime gave Kogami a simple answer: “Woof.” I don’t know.

"Woof!" Master!

What in the heck is a dog doing here? He’s pretty, and very well cared for by the looks of it. “Hey little guy. Are you lost?” He leans down to the dog’s height and checks his collar. Dime as well as a number was engraved on the ID tag dangling from the dog’s collar. Dime. What a dumb name for a dog. Must belong to a child or something.

He… Should probably call this number to find the dog’s owner, right?

Did this dog just nod at him? We’re animals capable of doing that— fully understanding someone word for word? Not only does he have amnesia, but he’s losing his mind too! Should he try… talking with the dog? “You’re the first friendly face I’ve seen all day, Dime.” He brings his hand up and ruffles the grey fur on the dog’s head. Then he opens up and wraps his arms around the soft canine, hugging him and holding him with a smile. “You see, I have amnesia. I’m not sure why or how it happened, but I’m glad you’re here.”

Dime wasn’t too sure what “amnesia” meant but he could assume it had something to do with memory loss. He watched Ginoza surprised face when he found out the husky can understand him. He seemed to be quite hesitant about speaking to him, then continued talking almost like he always has. However, will Ginoza understand him? “Woof?” Will you get better?

As it may seem, Ginoza has lost his memory. Dime doesn’t know whether to be devastated or use this rare opportunity to eat everything in the house like he always dream of. He can finally put his door opening skills to it’s fullest potential.

It only took two seconds for Dime to locate the box of treats. It took him thirty seconds to tear it open. It took him a five minutes to consume all of it’s contents.

He supposes he should. It’s the right thing to do, after all. This dog has a loving family and deserves to be returned to them. He rubs the friendly pooch’s head before getting his cell phone out (which he was glad to see he has on him still), tapping the number into his phone and pressing the call button. He’s immediately brought to voice mail. Well that’s odd… He tries it again from the phone on his desk, hearing his cell phone ring.

Well this is certainly a pickle! He awkwardly places the phone back on the receiver and bends down to Dime’s height again. “You wouldn’t happen to be my dog, would you?”

Dime stared straight into his eyes in bewilderment, what kind of question is that? Of course I’m your dog. I’ve always been. Then it dawned on him that Ginoza may have lost his memories. It’s devastating, it was like meeting a perfect stranger on the streets. Dime went along and answered the question with a simple nod.

Dime tilted his head from the unexpected inquisitive expression plastered all his master’s face. This sort of attitude is usually found on someone who never met the husky before when the pooch was wondering alone. It seemed like Ginoza was meeting him for the very first time. “Woof?” Master? Are you okay?
